Mokka Transport Mode Issues

I'm stumped. Just picked up a 2019 Vauxhall Mokka with a gasoline engine. It's showing 'Transport Mode Active' with 141595 km on the clock. The navigation is dead, and I'm getting general electrical gremlins. Could this be the reason?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had a similar nightmare with my 2017 Skoda Octavia. Same 'Transport Mode' message, and the infotainment system went completely bonkers. It's like the car's brain is half-asleep. Does it affect anything else, like central locking?

Yeah, it's messing with the central locking, plus a bunch of other minor electrical things that are hard to put my finger on. But the navigation being totally dead is the biggest issue. So, what exactly was up with your Skoda? How did you get it sorted?

Right, sounds almost identical. Turns out the 'Transport Mode' is supposed to be deactivated before the car leaves the dealership. Mine hadn't been, and it basically locks down certain features to save battery during shipping. I couldn't fix it myself; had to take it to the workshop. They hooked it up to their diagnostic tool and reset the car's configuration. I'd suggest doing the same.

Spot on! Took it to the workshop, they plugged it in, and boom, Transport Mode deactivated. Everything's working perfectly now. Navigation is back, central locking is sorted, and no more random electrical glitches. Cost me nothing, thankfully! Cheers for the help!
