Mokka Washer Fluid Warning and Pump Failure

My 2014 diesel Mokka shows a 'Washer fluid low' warning even though the reservoir is full, and the windshield washer system isn't working. I've checked the fluid level, but the error persists and is stored in the error memory. Could this be an electrical issue?

I had a similar problem with my Mokka. The warning light came on even though the washer fluid was topped up, and my windshield washer system also stopped working. Was the washer motor making any noise when you tried to use it?

No, the washer motor isn't making any noise when I try to activate the system. Was that your experience? What caused the issue in your case?

Yes, that was exactly my experience, silence from the washer motor. It turned out to be a faulty pump motor, which the error memory also indicated. I had to take mine to a workshop in the end as I'm not experienced enough to fix it myself. I'd suggest you do the same.

Following your advice, I took it to a workshop, and it was a defective washer motor, just as you described. The replacement cost was 25€, including labour. Thanks for your help.
