Mondeo Climate Control Issue

Climate control in my 2014 Ford Mondeo diesel is completely unresponsive at 231527 km. Diagnostics show an error, heating is weak, and the AC won't engage. I suspect a bad cable or plug. Anyone seen this?

I had a similar problem with my Mondeo; the air con was playing up. Check the electrical connectors and power supply to the climate control panel. Could be a loose connection or corrosion.

Thanks. Could you be more specific about which electrical connectors were problematic? Knowing the location would really help.

To be honest, I couldn't pinpoint it myself. I just brought it to a workshop as soon as I realised it was more than a fuse. They sorted it out quickly, so it might be worth doing the same.

Understood. A local mechanic inspected the wiring and connectors as suggested. A faulty connector was identified and repaired for 95€. The climate control system is now working.
