Mondeo Electrical Malfunction

I'm having major issues with my 2021 Ford Mondeo gasoline, about 64,000 km on it. Lately, it's throwing up all sorts of errors. I've got an error stored in the memory, and it feels like there's a general electrical malfunction. The navigation system is completely dead. My local guy thinks it might be a programming issue with the control unit – something implausible he called it. He’s estimating around 240€ for the repair. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Any thoughts on onboard diagnostics, ECU problems, recalibration, or vehicle software issues?

Sounds familiar. I had similar electrical gremlins in my Mondeo. Was the error related to the control module?

Yeah, he mentioned something about that. He wasn't very specific though. Did you also have issues with the navigation system?

Yeah, the nav system was acting up too, along with a bunch of other random stuff. Honestly, I'd recommend just getting it checked at a decent workshop. They'll be able to pinpoint the problem properly.

Thanks! I appreciate the insight. Looks like a trip to the shop is on the cards. I will let you know how it went.
