Mondeo handsfree microphone failure

I've had a similar issue in my Mondeo. Couldn't make calls or use voice commands. Did you check the Bluetooth and wireless connection settings? Sounds like it could be related to audio input and speech recognition gone wrong. Is the error message in the system memory related to either of those?

Yep, exactly the same! The infotainment system was defective, sadly. I ended up having to take it to the workshop. They replaced the whole unit. It wasn't cheap, but it solved the problem for me, so I didn't have much of a choice. Given that you're getting an error stored in the error memory, I'd say it's worth getting it checked out.
