Mondeo Ignition Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Ford Mondeo with a gasoline engine is experiencing ignition problems, including failure to start, occasional shutdowns, and rough running. The suspected cause is an electrical fault, possibly a bad fuse in the ignition system. The issue was resolved by replacing a faulty fuse, which was a straightforward and inexpensive fix.

Interesting. Can you give me more details? Were the symptoms similar, and what did you try before finding the problem?

Yeah, very similar. Dashboard lights went crazy, and the car sometimes died while driving. I tried a new battery, but that didn't fix it. I'm not very technical, so I took it to a shop. They fixed it fast.

Turns out it was a faulty fuse. An easy fix, cost about 52€. Thanks for the help!

I had a similar starting issue with my Mondeo. Turned the key, and nothing happened. The car's electronics were acting up. Could be the starter motor or the ignition coil?
