Mondeo massage seat failure

Alright, Mondeo aficionados, I've got a head-scratcher. My 2023 Ford Mondeo Hybrid is giving me grief. The massage seat switch is stone dead. Zilch. Nada. Can't get the lumbar support to do its thing. Hooked it up to diagnostics and it's throwing an error code. Anyone else wrestled with this first-world problem?

I've got a Mondeo too, and something similar happened to me a while back. Though my error memory was not checked. Have you checked the fuses or any of the connections under the seat? It might be a simple fix before you start tearing into the car upholstery.

Yeah, I had a poke around under the seat, but those connectors look like a bowl of spaghetti. Did your massage seat completely pack it in, or was it intermittent? I'm trying to avoid a complete seat disassembly if possible!

Mine went completely dead. I took it to a workshop and they sorted it out quickly. They told me they only needed to replace a defective cable and plug connection.

Cheers, sounds like I'm heading to the shop. Just got a quote for 95€; seems reasonable enough to avoid wrestling with the car upholstery myself. Appreciate the insight!
