Thanks for the tip! When you had the issue, did the check engine light come on immediately, or did it take some time? And did you notice any difference in the engine's performance?

The light came on and off at first, then stayed on constantly. I also noticed a slight drop in power, especially when accelerating. Honestly, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. I messed with it for ages before giving up and the pros sorted it pretty quick

Appreciate the insight! I'll check those hoses as a first step, but I'm mentally preparing to visit the mechanic. Just got the bill: 175€ for the repair. Turns out it was a defective hose connection from the pump to the valve, just like I thought.

Oh, that sounds familiar! I had something like that happen in my Monza too. Have you checked the vacuum hoses around the throttle body? Mine were cracked and causing all sorts of air supply problems. Might be worth a look before you dive too deep.
