Monza keyless access issue
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Chevrolet Monza owner experienced a keyless access issue, with an error related to the door handle. The problem was identified as a common weak point in the system, often due to a faulty cable or connection to the door handle module. The solution involved accessing the module behind the door panel, which was best handled by a professional workshop. The issue was resolved by fixing the connection, restoring the keyless entry functionality.

Thanks! Where exactly is that module located? Is it accessible without taking the entire door apart?

Yeah, it's behind the door panel, unfortunately. You'll need to carefully remove the door card to get to it. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. It's likely a defective cable or a bad connection, but they can diagnose it properly. It cost me 95€ to get it sorted at the workshop.

Appreciate the advice! I took it to a shop, and you were spot on – it was a connection issue with the door handle. Got it fixed for 95€, keyless entry is working again.

I had something similar happen on my Monza. Check the cable and plug connection to the door handle module itself. It's a known weak point in the system. The sensor inside these electric door handles can be quite finicky.
