Movano Coolant Loss Defective Plug
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Renault Movano diesel was experiencing a persistent coolant loss and a check engine light issue. Despite checking the radiator hoses, reservoir, and radiator cap, the problem persisted. A suggestion was made to inspect for a defective plug connection, which was confirmed by a mechanic as the cause. After addressing the defective plug, the vehicle was repaired and running smoothly.

A defective plug connection, eh? Interesting. Could you give me a bit more detail, like which component's plug was defective?

Indeed, the mechanic confirmed that a cable or plug connection of the component was defective. I recommend taking it to the workshop to get it checked.

Cheers for the advice! Took it to a shop and, bang on, the diagnostic came back with a defective plug connection as the issue. Cost me 95€, but she's running smooth as butter now!

I had a similar issue with my Renault Movano. The problem was caused by a defective plug connection. Might be worth checking those.
