Movano generator failure

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my Movano. Check the voltage across your battery when the engine is running. If it's not around 14V, your charging system is suspect. Could be the alternator itself or even a bad connection. Starter motor might be getting insufficient current.

Yes, it started intermittently. First, just the warning light flickering at idle, then progressively got worse until the van barely started. I would just bring it to a workshop if I were you. Probably the voltage regulator or the diode bridge are damaged.
