Movano Heating Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Renault Movano diesel is experiencing inadequate heating, with diagnostics indicating a fault in the defrost air distribution flap. The issue may stem from a defective cable or plug connection. A similar problem in an Opel Vivaro was resolved by replacing a faulty stepper motor controlling the air distribution flap. It is suggested to have the air distribution flap and stepper motor professionally assessed to address the heating issue.

I did indeed examine the fuses and relays, and they appear to be in good order. Could you elaborate on the specifics of your Opel Vivaro issue? Were there any particular connectors or wiring looms that proved problematic?

In my Vivaro's case, it ultimately turned out to be a faulty stepper motor controlling the air distribution flap. It wasn't throwing the same error code you mentioned, but the symptoms were identical. Given you've checked the obvious electrical culprits, it might be wise to have a workshop assess the component directly. My repair amounted to approximately 95€, which might give you a ballpark figure to expect. It may be a similar issue.

I appreciate your shared experience and prudent counsel. Based on your recommendation, I shall endeavor to have the air distribution flap and associated stepper motor professionally assessed. Thank you for shedding light on this matter.

Ah, a familiar tale! My experience lies with a 2016 Opel Vivaro, I encountered a similar gremlin affecting my temperature regulation. The symptoms you describe and the error code resonate with my own trials. Did you perhaps consider inspecting the relevant fuses and relays before delving deeper into the ventilation system itself?
