Movano key battery warning

Hi, I have a 2015 Renault Movano with a diesel engine and I'm getting a 'key battery low' warning. Keyless entry doesn't work anymore, there's an error stored, and unlocking is unreliable. Could it really just be the key battery?

Sounds familiar. Had similar gremlins with my old Opel Astra. Keyless go stopped working, plus the range for remote locking dropped to near zero. Did you try replacing the battery?

No, not yet. Is it really that simple? Or is there more to it than just swapping the battery?

Worth a shot. However when the issues reappeared on my Astra after changing the battery myself, I just went to a workshop and let them sort it out. They did something to the key and it worked afterwards.

Thanks for the advice! I got the battery replaced, and that seems to have fixed it. Cost me 37€, but at least it's sorted.
