Thanks for the quick reply! No, I haven't tried any regeneration cycles yet. Where is the sensor located, and how would I check it for faults? I'm concerned about fuel efficiency dropping even further if it is indeed the filter.

Alright, the sensor can be tricky to locate without proper tools. Honestly, considering the smoke and power loss, and your mileage, it’s probably best to get it checked professionally. I ended up having to replace mine – cost a pretty penny, around 1550€ at the workshop. Could save you a lot of headache compared to trying to fix it yourself!

Thank you for sharing your experience. I appreciate the advice. I think I'll book a vehicle inspection at the workshop to get a definitive diagnosis and a quote for the repair. It seems like a professional check is the wisest course of action. Hopefully, it will solve the issue. Again, thank you!

Hey there! I also have a Renault Movano, though not sure about the year, and your symptoms sound eerily familiar to what I experienced a while back. Reduced power and smoke are definitely not good signs. Have you tried any regeneration cycles? Also, could be a sensor fault messing things up.
