Thanks for the quick reply! It seems to happen more when the engine is warm, actually. I haven't checked the transmission fluid myself yet – honestly, I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to that. How difficult is it to check the transmission fluid, and what should I be looking for?

Checking the transmission fluid isn't too difficult, but you'll need to locate the dipstick, which is usually marked. The fluid should be a clear red color. If it looks dark or smells burnt, that's a bad sign. However, since your issue is happening when warm, and with those symptoms, it is really possible that you have more profound transmission problems. I'd recommend getting it to a workshop as soon as you can. Continuing to drive it in this condition could cause even more damage.

Thanks so much for the advice! I took it to a local workshop, and they confirmed the undervoltage issue and worn-out automatic transmission oil. They flushed the transmission and replaced the fluid, and it cost me about 240€. Seems to be running smoothly now!

I had a similar issue with my Move's automatic transmission. Slipping transmission, odd shifting patterns… sounds familiar. Does it happen more when the engine is cold, or is it constant? Have you checked the transmission fluid level and condition recently? Low hydraulic fluid pressure can definitely cause these symptoms. Also, problems with the transmission oil, like if it's contaminated or too old, could be the culprit.
