MR2 Terminal 30 Interrupted
Summary of the thread
A 2000 Toyota MR2 is experiencing starting issues with an error message indicating 'Terminal 30 continuous plus interrupted.' A heavily discharged or defective battery could be a potential cause. Another possibility is a problem with the charging system, ignition switch, or a corroded wire in the fuse box. The issue was resolved by identifying and repairing a corroded wire, confirmed by a workshop.

Where exactly did you find the voltage drop? Was it obvious, or did you need to chase it down?

I didn't find it myself, unfortunately. Turned out to be a corroded wire in the fuse box. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop; chasing electrical gremlins can be a pain.

Thanks for the tip! Workshop confirmed it - corroded wire. Cost me 290€ to fix. Much appreciated!

I had a similar issue with my MR2. Check your charging system and ignition switch. Could also be a weird fuse box issue or electrical fault somewhere. Have you checked for voltage drops?
