Hey, I'm glad to find someone who had a similar issue with their Seat! So, the cables were the culprits for your Ateca, huh? I bet the breakdown and assembly of the wheel would've been quite a show! If you don't mind my asking, do you remember how much your wallet had to cough up for this repair? Just need to get a ballpark figure so that I can brace myself, you see. Also, since this cable replacement, has your Ateca presented you with any more surprise gifts? Cheers for the info, really appreciate it! Keep safe and sound.

Hey, Oh, I totally understand the nerves around costs. Looking after the old wallet, eh? So, for my Ateca's steering wheel cable fix, it set me back 95€. Not exactly small change, sure, but compared to the inconvenience of a non-functioning steering wheel, truly a necessary spend, in my opinion. Good news though: since seeing the mechanic, my Ateca's been acting like a champ, no more unexpected "gifts" from the multifunction steering wheel. Fingers crossed it remains that way. I hope your Tarraco follows the same path and behaves well post the repair. Drive safe!

Hey, Phew, it's a relief to hear that a steering wheel mystery like mine cost you under a 100 €. Definitely stings a bit but as you said, for peace of mind and a functioning car, it's a necessary dent on the wallet. Even more encouraging to hear your Ateca has been behaving since. Exactly the kind of hope I needed, so cheers for that! I've decided to roll the dice and take my Tarraco to a garage in town that a colleague of mine swears by. Fingers crossed, hope my old gal follows in your Ateca's champ tracks. Well, off I go, wish me luck! Drive safe and keep well! Appreciate your support. Cheers!

Hey there, Got something similar with my 2016 Seat Ateca a while back. Turned out I had some defective cables in the multifunction steering wheel, just as you suspect with your Tarraco. I remember it gave me quite the frown cause I couldn't control my radio or cruise control. The mechanic simply followed the process to replace the old cables. Anyhow, it wasn't that bad as it looked at first. The main issue here was the inconvenience rather than the severity. But yeah, the wheel had to be disassembled to get the job done. I'd say hit up a reputable local garage and have them take a peek. Hope this helps! Keep rolling.
