Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't checked the sensor readings myself. Is it possible to fix this issue myself without specialist tools or should I bring the car to a workshop?

It's hard to say whether you'll need special tools or not, as I don't have enough information. However, I had to go to the workshop. They replaced the accelerator pedal module, and that completely fixed it. Definitely worth checking out!

Thank you so much for your help and sharing your experience. I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on! Defective accelerator pedal module indeed. The repair cost me 205€, but it's running smoothly again. I appreciate the guidance!

That sounds super annoying. I had a similar problem with my old 2012 Opel Insignia. It turned out to be a sticky throttle position sensor messing with the fuel/air mixture. It caused rough idling and decreased fuel efficiency. Have you checked the sensor readings, or tried cleaning the throttle body?
