Murano height control problem

My 2005 Nissan Murano with a gasoline engine has a height control issue. The warning light is on, low beams are off, and the car is sitting unevenly. Error code is stored, and the ride is super bumpy. I suspect a defective control rod on the sensor. Any ideas?

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar suspension issue with my old Audi A6. The symptoms were almost identical, and the uneven ride height was a nightmare. Did you check the load sensors? Those can cause all sorts of weirdness with the ride height if they're sending incorrect data to the control module. How many kilometers are on your Murano?

Load sensors, okay. The car has about 59363 km. How did you fix it on your Audi?

On my Audi, it turned out to be a corroded control rod on one of the sensors, just like you suspect. It was throwing off the whole system. Given your symptoms and the mileage, it's highly probable you're facing the same problem. I'd recommend getting it checked by a workshop; they'll be able to pinpoint the exact sensor and confirm the diagnosis. Best of luck!

Workshop confirmed the control rod was the issue. Repair cost me 110€. Appreciate the help!
