Murano Hybrid AC and Sensor Issue

Hi, I'm having a weird issue with my 2016 Nissan Murano Hybrid. It's got about 93000 km on the clock. I'm getting an error stored in the error memory and an error message popping up on the speedometer. To top it off, the air conditioning won't switch on at all. I've checked for obvious stuff like coolant leaks, but everything seems fine. Could this be a sensor malfunction related to the temperature sensor or something to do with the engine cooling system?

Sounds frustrating! I had something similar happen with my old BMW. The symptoms were almost identical. Turned out to be a faulty AC control unit causing all sorts of havoc. Have you checked that?

Given your symptoms, and my past experience, I'd strongly suggest taking it to a trusted workshop. Could save you a lot of time and potential headaches. You could try checking the fuses first, though!

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. Turns out the temperature sensor in the heat exchanger was defective, which led to the AC control unit going haywire. Repair cost me about 980€, but at least it's fixed. Appreciate the help!
