Murano Hybrid Rough Engine Jerking Acceleration
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Nissan Murano Hybrid is experiencing rough engine performance, a check engine light, and jerking during acceleration, indicating a potential loss of power. A similar issue in another Murano was caused by a faulty fuel injector, identified through diagnostic codes pointing to a misfire. It is suggested to have the vehicle checked at a workshop to confirm if the fuel injector is the cause.

Fuel injector, huh? How did you figure that out? And how much did it set you back?

The diagnostic code pointed to a misfire, and after swapping some parts around, the mechanic pinpointed the injector. It was a pain. I'd suggest getting yours checked at a workshop; they'll be able to tell you for sure. I ended up paying 515€, parts and labor included.

Thanks a lot! I'll get it checked out. Sounds like that could be it. Turns out it was exactly that. You saved me a ton of guesswork!

Sounds familiar. I've got a Murano too, though not the hybrid version. I had similar symptoms a while back – rough running, check engine light, the works. For me, it turned out to be a faulty fuel injector. Have you checked yours?
