Murano steering vibration

My 2016 Nissan Murano Hybrid is acting up. The steering wheel vibrates, handling feels spongy, and the error memory has a fault stored. Steering needs more effort, almost like the power steering is failing. Mileage is at 85400 km. Anyone seen this?

I've had something similar with my Murano. Not sure of the year of manufacture of mine. Is it like, you turn the wheel and it feels like it's catching, then releasing? Like a dead spot?

Sounds like the same thing. I didn't dig too deep, just took it to a workshop, figured it was the electric steering acting up.

Cheers. I'll get the cable and plug connections checked. Apparently, that's a common issue, and the repair cost is around 95€. That seems to align with a defective cable or plug connection.
