Mustang Automatic Transmission Issue

I had almost the exact same thing happen with my Mustang (automatic transmission). Slipping transmission, that awful light… sound familiar? In my case, it turned out the hydraulic fluid was breaking down early. Have you checked the fluid level and condition lately?

It's fairly straightforward to check the fluid, but honestly, given the symptoms I'd strongly recommend just taking it to a reputable workshop. Trying to diagnose a potential automatic gearbox problem yourself without proper equipment can often lead to more headaches and higher costs down the line. Understood and thanks for the advice. I took it to a trusted mechanic. The transmission oil was indeed worn out due to undervoltage, and it needed to be replaced. The whole repair cost me 240€. I appreciate your help!
