Mustang boost pressure malfunction

My 2016 Ford Mustang gasoline engine is acting up at 55128 km. The boost pressure seems off. The check engine light is on, power is down, response is poor, it sometimes stalls, fuel consumption is up, and there's a whistle and loud hiss when I accelerate. Could this be the turbocharger, throttle body, or MAP sensor?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my Mustang. Did you notice any turbo lag before all this started?

Thanks. I did observe some turbo lag now and then. Anything else you noticed that might be connected?

Yeah, the lag was the first sign for me. Then the hissing got really bad. Eventually, I took it in and they said it was the wastegate valve. Get it checked!

I appreciate the insight. It does seem like the wastegate valve may be the source of the problem. I will schedule an appointment for a professional diagnosis and repair. The estimated cost is around 860€. Thanks again.
