Just the one code related to the knock sensor. I've cleared it a couple of times, but it returns after a short drive. Did your BMW show the same behavior?

Yeah, same symptoms. I tried troubleshooting it myself for a while, but honestly, in the end, I just took it to a workshop. Sometimes it's easier to let the pros handle it. Good luck!

Thanks for the insight. I suspected it might come to that. Turns out it was indeed a faulty connector. Repair cost was 95€. Appreciate the help!

Interesting. I had a similar problem on my old BMW a while back. The warning light was on, and fuel efficiency tanked. Was it showing any other codes besides the knock sensor?
