Mustang reduced engine power

Hey, I'm having a real headache with my 2020 Ford Mustang with a gasoline engine. I've got 142032 km on it, and recently the engine power has been noticeably reduced. Plus, the check engine light keeps popping on. I've checked the air intake, but I'm not sure what to do next. Could it be the throttle body? Any ideas?

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my Mustang. Check if your car goes into limp mode. It could be related to the throttle sensor or even the accelerator pedal module. Have you noticed any changes in fuel efficiency?

Limp mode, huh? I haven't specifically noticed that, but the reduced power feels like it could be something similar. Where exactly is the throttle sensor located? And what do you mean by accelerator pedal module? Is that difficult to check?

Yeah, limp mode is a pain. The throttle sensor is usually near the throttle body itself, part of the air intake system. The accelerator pedal module is basically the electronics inside your gas pedal assembly. Honestly, given the symptoms, it might be best to get it checked by a workshop. Could save you a lot of hassle.

Thanks so much for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was a defective throttle valve, likely caused by a faulty accelerator pedal module. Repair cost was 265€ Appreciate the help!
