Mustang rough running and stalling

Hi, I have a 2016 Ford Mustang with a gasoline engine. Lately, the engine's been running rough, and it stalls at idle sometimes. The check engine light is also on, and I feel a jerking when accelerating. My mileage is at 239863 km. Any ideas? I suspect a defective ignition coil. I checked all the connections, but found nothing obvious.

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Mustang. Rough running and stalling are definitely no fun. Have you tried pulling the error codes? It could point you directly to the faulty coil pack, if that's really what it is. Which cylinder is misfiring?

Thanks for the quick reply! No, I haven't pulled the error codes yet. I will do that ASAP. Where exactly did you find the misfire? Which coil pack was the culprit?

I did pull the error code and it was cylinder 3 on mine. I would suggest going to a local mechanic. They'll check the cable or plug connection of the component which is defective and replace the ignition coil.

Alright, thanks a lot for the advice. I scanned the error codes, and it pointed to a faulty ignition coil, just like you said! I had it replaced at a local workshop, and now everything runs smoothly again. The repair cost was 95€. Thanks!
