Mustang turn signal errors

Help! My 2004 Ford Mustang with a gasoline engine is throwing turn signal errors. I get an error message on the speedometer and the lighting is definitely faulty. The error memory also has a record of the problem. Any ideas?

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had something similar happen on my Mustang – don't remember the exact year. Did you check the cable and plug connections to the lamp? That's where I'd start, as that's what triggered my error.

Interesting! Where exactly are those connections located? Any tips on what to look for – corrosion, loose wires, or what?

Yup, same symptoms! My mechanic found that a faulty connection to the turn signal lamp was the culprit. Honestly, it's probably best to get it checked at a workshop. I was lucky, my bill was only around 95€.

Thanks a bunch for the tip! I took it to my mechanic, and you were spot on – a defective cable connection. Cost me 95€ to repair. Crisis averted!
