N300 dead audio system
Summary of the thread
The 2013 Chevy N300's audio system was completely non-functional, with no sound output despite the fuses being intact. The issue was suspected to be related to the bass speaker, which, if defective, could cause the entire system to shut down due to a potential short or protection circuit activation. The bass speaker, located under one of the front seats, was identified as the problem and replacing it resolved the issue.

Bass speaker, huh? I hadn't thought of that. No weird sounds or anything before it died, just went silent suddenly. Where's the bass speaker located? And how would a faulty speaker kill the whole system?

Yeah, it's weird. The bass speaker is usually under one of the front seats. As for why it kills the system, I'm not entirely sure of the technical reason, but a short in the speaker wiring or a completely blown speaker might trigger some kind of protection circuit. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop.

Thanks for the tip! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on – the bass speaker was the culprit. Cost me 280€ to replace it. Appreciate the help!

I've got an N300 too, and I had a similar problem a while back. Radio, USB, Bluetooth – all dead. Did you check the bass speaker? Turns out that if the speaker is defective the whole system shuts down. Any sound quality issues before it went completely silent?
