N300 Fault Code Chip Tuning
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Chevy N300 is experiencing reduced engine power and a full error memory, suspected to be caused by previous aftermarket chip tuning. The issue developed a few months after the tuning, suggesting the chip might be sending incorrect signals or stressing other components. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle diagnosed by a workshop, which confirmed the tuning chip was the problem, leading to a resolution through ECU reflashing.

It was a while after the tuning that the problem appeared, maybe a couple of months. Is it possible the chip could have damaged something else, or is it more likely just sending the wrong signals now?

It could be either, honestly. The chip might have gradually stressed other components. It's really hard to say without a proper diagnostic. Best bet is to get it to a workshop. They can properly diagnose the source of the issue and give you a definitive answer.

Thanks. You were spot on! Took it in, and the shop confirmed the tuning chip went rogue. Cost me 180€ to get it sorted and the ECU reflashed. Appreciate the advice!

I had a similar issue with my N300. I'd definitely look into that chip tuning first. Those things can mess with the ECU. Did the reduced power happen right after the tuning, or did it develop later?
