N400 control unit error
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Chevrolet N400 experienced a control unit communication error, engine overheating, and coolant spillage. The suspected cause was a disruption in the CAN bus, possibly due to a cable or plug issue. The problem was resolved by replacing a faulty wiring connector to the engine control module, restoring normal function.

Could you tell me more about the wiring harness issue you had? Did it also show as a control unit communication error, and which modules were affected? Any details would help.

Yeah, it was a communication error alright, made the whole system go haywire. Honestly, I'd suggest getting it checked out by a professional. Could be a simple fix, but you don't want to risk frying anything important.

Just to close the loop, the issue was a faulty wiring connector to the engine control module. Replaced the connector, and it seems to be back to normal. Cost was 95€. Thanks for the help.

Whoa, overheating and coolant spills are never good! I had something kinda similar happen with my Chevy (though it's not an N400). Turned out to be a dodgy wiring harness that was messing with all sorts of sensor readings. Is it throwing any specific error codes?
