Navara Audio System Failure

I own a Navara too. I had a similar issue. Complete silence suggests a common failure point. Did you check the audio system fuses? Any sound distortion before it died?

I checked the fuses, and they're fine. I don't recall any distortion. Can the bass speaker shut down the whole system without warning?

Yes, a shorted bass speaker can trigger amplifier protection, muting the system. Like a circuit breaker tripping. Since the fuses are good, take it to a workshop for diagnostics.

It was the bass speaker! Replaced it for 280€, and the audio system works now. Thanks!
