Thanks for the reply! How did you fix yours? Did you manage to sort it out yourself, or did you have to take it to a mechanic?

I tried a few things myself, like higher octane fuel and cleaning the spark plugs, but nothing really fixed it permanently. Eventually, I took it to a workshop and they found heavy deposits in the combustion chamber. They cleaned everything and the problem went away.

Thanks. I appreciate the advice. I took it to a workshop and they confirmed deposits in the combustion chamber. They cleaned it all out, and it cost me about 425€, but it seems to have sorted the problem. Runs like a dream now!

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Navara. Sounds like engine knock. Have you tried using a higher octane fuel? It might be worth checking the knock sensor and ignition timing too. Could also be carbon deposits in the cylinder heads.
