Navara fault memory lock active
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Nissan Navara displayed a 'fault memory lock active' error, with diagnostics suggesting possible undervoltage issues. The problem was traced to a faulty alternator, despite the battery appearing healthy. Replacing the alternator resolved the error, confirming that voltage fluctuations from a degraded alternator can affect the ECU.

Thanks! Battery seemed fine when tested. But the alternator wasn't checked under load. Could a slightly degraded alternator cause this, even if the battery appears healthy?

Yep, that's exactly what happened to me. Battery seemed okay, but the alternator was on its way out. The voltage fluctuations messed with the ECU. I'd suggest getting the alternator properly tested, or just take it to a workshop to diagnose.

Appreciate the advice! Had the alternator tested, and it was indeed faulty. Replaced it, and the error is now gone. The repair cost me around 240€. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my Navara. Kept getting random errors. Did you check the battery and alternator? Seems like the ECU is sensitive to voltage drops.
