Navara faulty rail pressure sensor signal

Hey, I have a 2013 Nissan Navara with a gasoline engine. I'm getting a faulty rail pressure sensor signal, the check engine light is on, and sometimes the engine stalls at idle. Also feels like reduced engine power. Mileage is at 167334 km. Anyone seen this before? Suspect the pressure sensor is defective.

I think I have heard something similar before. Is it a diesel engine or the gasoline one? Have you checked the fuel filter? When was the last time you replaced it? Sometimes a clogged filter can cause weird fuel pressure issues that throw off the sensor. Also, have you tried cleaning the sensor connector? A bad connection can cause incorrect signals.

It's the gasoline engine. I haven't checked the fuel filter yet, but the stalling at idle is pretty consistent. Cleaning the sensor connector is a good idea. Where exactly is the fuel filter located on this model?

Ah, the fuel filter location on the gasoline Navara, I am not sure. I thought yours was the diesel engine. It's probably best to get it checked out by a professional. A faulty sensor is a common issue, and they'll be able to diagnose it properly and replace the sensor if needed.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and it was indeed the fuel rail pressure sensor. They replaced it, and everything is running smoothly now. The repair cost me 240€.
