Navara radio reception problem
Summary of the thread
A 2002 Nissan Navara experienced worsening radio reception issues, with the infotainment system throwing errors and audio cutting out. The problem was suspected to be related to the antenna. After confirming a solid connection, the antenna itself was identified as faulty. Replacing the antenna resolved the issue, restoring proper radio function.

It's gotten worse over the last few weeks. I checked the antenna connection, and it seems solid. Anything specific I should look for?

If the connection's good, it could be the antenna itself. My Astra's antenna went bad slowly, so I took it to a shop. They replaced it, and it was fixed.

Just to let you know, the shop confirmed it was a bad antenna. Replacement and labor cost 255€. Radio's working perfectly now.

I had something similar with my old Opel Astra, but not exactly the same. Was it always bad, or did it get worse?
