Navara transmission issues

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2012 Nissan Navara gasoline. The radiator oil pressure seems defective. The transmission indicator and check engine lights are both on. It's stuck in emergency mode, doesn't shift right, slips gears, and makes grinding noises. I checked the error memory, and it has stored error codes. Could a defective cable or plug connection really cause all this mess?

I had something similar happen with my Navara. Was your cooling fan running constantly, even when the engine was cold? Did you also notice any coolant leak or the engine overheating?

That's interesting. I haven't specifically checked the cooling fan, but no obvious coolant leak. Overheating isn't apparent either. Could a faulty pressure gauge in the cooling system trigger all those transmission symptoms you mentioned?

Yep, that's exactly what happened to me! The pressure gauge reading was off, messing with the whole system. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop; they'll be able to pinpoint it quickly.

Thanks for the tip! Turns out it was a defective cable connection to the radiator oil pressure sensor. Cost me 95€ to fix. Appreciate the help!
