Navara Windshield Washer Failure

I've got a 2008 Nissan Navara diesel with 210106 km on the clock. Recently, the washer fluid low warning light popped up. Now the windshield washer system doesn't work at all, and there's an error stored in the memory. Reservoir's full, so what gives?

Sounds like you've got a blockage or a dead pump. Have you tried listening for the washer motor when you activate the system? If you hear nothing, it's likely the motor itself. It's like a fuse blowing in your house, sometimes they just give up. Is the warning light constantly on, or does it flicker?

Good point. I don't hear the motor at all. The light is constantly on. Could it be something else, like a fuse or a relay?

Yes, definitely check the fuse first, that's the easiest and cheapest thing to rule out. The relay could also be the culprit, but it's less common. However, given that you don't hear the motor, and the reservoir is full, it really does sound like the pump has failed. At this point, I would take it to a shop.
