Hey, thanks for your reply! The cable connection thing sounds plausible, could be the case for me too. Can you remember how much you paid for the repair back then? And have you had any subsequent problems with the electronics since then? Regards!

Hello, of course I remember - the repair wasn't exactly cheap back then. I had to fork out 165 euros to fix the cable connection between the control unit and the display. But you know what? I haven't had any more problems with the sat nav since then. Since I've been to the mechanic, the screen failure has come to an end. So far, everything is running like clockwork. So, it's probably still worth it. Greetings back!

Great, that really helps me. Thank you for sharing your experience with me! I was worried about the cost, but when I hear that everything has been running smoothly for you since the repair, it's reassuring. That's exactly what I wanted to hear. I will probably visit my garage and have the cable connection checked. Thanks again!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my 2012 Opel Astra. In my case, the cable connection between the control unit and the display was defective - meaning a bad connection. The guys in the garage had to replace the whole connection part. Can be quite serious because it's all connected to the electronics of the car. But don't worry, once it's fixed everything should work fine again. Hope this helps!
