NBox auxiliary heater issue
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Honda NBox owner is experiencing an issue with the auxiliary heater not activating and suspects a defective glow plug. Another owner with a similar problem suggests checking the temperature sensor and heater core, but the issue is confirmed to be a defective glow plug. The recommendation is to visit a workshop to avoid further damage, which leads to the glow plug being replaced.

Thank you for your response. I've inspected the temperature sensor and the heater core seems fine. Could you provide more details about the issues you experienced? Was the error memory also indicating a glow plug?

Yes, the error pointed to the glow plug in my case as well. I'd recommend visiting a workshop to confirm. Trying to fix it yourself might cause further damage to the heating system.

Thank you for confirming. I followed your advice and took it to a workshop. The glow plug was indeed defective, and the repair cost me 440€. Appreciate your help.

I also have a NBox, and I had a similar problem last winter. Did you check the temperature sensor or the heater core? Those were the first things I looked at when my parking heater wouldn't start.
