Nemo automatic transmission implausible shifting
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Citroen Nemo with a gasoline engine is experiencing automatic transmission issues, including implausible shifting, a transmission indicator light, and emergency mode activation. The problem is identified as being caused by an undervoltage issue affecting the transmission's electronic controls. The suggested solution is to have the vehicle diagnosed and repaired at a workshop, where a transmission flush and electrical problem resolution can restore proper function.

Thanks! I'm not very experienced with cars. Could you elaborate on the undervoltage issue? Did you experience the same symptoms, and how did you resolve it?

Yes, the symptoms were identical. Transmission problems and all. I suggest taking it to a workshop; they'll be able to diagnose it properly. It turned out that undervoltage was messing with the transmission's electronic controls.

Thanks so much! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on! It was indeed an undervoltage issue affecting the transmission. The mechanic performed a transmission flush and sorted out the electrical problem. The repair cost me 240€, but now it's driving like new. I really appreciate your help!

I had a similar problem with my Nemo. Transmission performance was terrible. Have you checked the voltage? It could be the cause.
