Nemo Brake Fluid Low Pedal Feedback

Hi, I've got a 2010 Citroen Nemo diesel with about 85k km on the clock. The brake fluid warning light came on recently. I checked the level and it's definitely low. I'm also getting some strange feedback from the brake pedal. Could this be worn brakes? It doesn't feel good, but I'm not sure.

Oh my, I know what that's like! I also have a Nemo, and a while back I noticed my brake fluid was low, too. It gave me such a fright! Were your brakes making any weird noises or anything before the light came on? I'm just wondering if it is the same thing that happened to me.

No weird noises, just the pedal feels a bit off. How low was your brake fluid when it happened to you? Did you just top it up, or did you have to do something else?

It was quite low actually, which really alarmed me. Please don't just top it up! With these hydraulic brakes, you really ought to get the whole brake system inspected, especially if you're getting feedback from the pedal. If your brakes are worn, it could be that you need a fluid replacement because of the extra space it needs to fill, oh dear! Really, get it to a workshop straight away and get it checked!

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop. Turns out the brakes were worn. Cost me 480€ to get them replaced and the fluid topped up.
