Nemo Climate Control Failure

I've got a 2013 Citroen Nemo (gasoline engine) with about 139k km. The climate control panel has gone completely dead. The error memory has a stored error, the heating output is too low, and the air conditioning won't switch on at all. I've checked the fuses and they seem fine. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Sounds like a pain. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the climate control unit itself? A defective connection is a likely culprit and could be the cause of all your symptoms. Also, have you checked the power supply to the unit? No power, no worky. Failing that, it could also be a faulty temperature sensor. Did you test the HVAC system?

Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't checked the cable and plug connections directly at the unit yet, but I'll definitely give that a look. How would I go about checking the power supply? Any specific points I should be testing?

Checking the power supply involves using a multimeter to see if the unit is actually receiving power. You'll need to find the wiring diagram for the climate control unit to identify the correct pins for testing. If you aren't comfortable with that, it's probably best to take it to a workshop. Electronic faults can be tricky to diagnose without the right tools and knowledge. Although, the error code may provide valuable information for diagnosis. Going to the workshop may be your only choice.

Thanks for the advice. I checked the connections as you suggested and found a loose plug. Cleaned it up, reconnected it, and everything is working again! Cost me 95€ at the workshop, but they found the faulty plug right away. Appreciate the help!
