Nemo Overheating Bypass Valve Error

My 2012 Citroen Nemo, gasoline engine, is giving me headaches. Recently, the engine started overheating, and I'm getting a bypass valve error. I've checked the hoses, but I'm not a car expert. The car has 226196 km on the clock. Could this be a vacuum system issue? I'm worried about engine stalling if it gets worse!

I had a similar issue with my Citroen Nemo. It turned out that the bypass valve error was a consequential error due to another problem in the air intake system.

Thanks! Do you remember what the original issue was that caused the bypass valve error? I'm trying to figure out if it's something I can handle myself or if I need to bite the bullet and take it to a repair shop. I'd like to have a fair idea, before going to the workshop

Unfortunately, I do not recall the initial problem. Given the complexity of modern engine management systems, consulting a workshop is advisable. It is possible that the malfunction of the bypass valve is merely a symptom of a deeper issue.

Okay, I understand. I took the car to the workshop. It turned out that the bypass valve error was indeed a consequential error. Replacing another faulty part solved the issue! The repair cost was 0€ because it was covered by warranty!
