Nemo Rain Sensor Fault

Thanks! The lights are permanently on, regardless of light. Wipers work manually, but not the auto rain-sensing mode. Could you tell me more about what happened with yours and how you fixed it?

Okay, so mine was the wipers going nuts and the headlights doing what they wanted. Sounds like we had the same gremlin! Honestly, I poked around a bit, but car electronics are beyond me. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They said it was the rain sensor unit itself. Get yours checked out by a professional!

Thanks for the advice. I had the sensor checked by a technician. The rain sensor unit was faulty because of the gel pad issue. Replacing the unit for 62€ fixed everything.

Whoa, that sounds like a mess! I’ve got a Nemo too, and I had something similar last year. Were your lights stuck on full beam, or just on all the time? And did the wipers not work at all, or just not automatically? Mine was doing the opposite – wipers going crazy even when it was bone dry!
