Yeah, I'm pretty sure the battery's dead. Keyless entry is totally gone. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this before I go ahead and replace the battery. Was it the same for you?

Yep, same symptoms. Replaced the battery and it worked for a while but started acting up again soon after. I'd get it checked out at a workshop if it keeps happening. Could be a deeper issue.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll try the battery first and see if that fixes it. Cost me 37€ but so far so good. Fingers crossed it's just that!

I had something similar happen with my Nissan Caravan, though mine's a bit older. Is the key really dead? Have you tried replacing the battery in the key fob?
