Nissan Caravan oil level sensor issue

My 2019 Nissan Caravan diesel (57629 km) has a speedometer error message, a stored error, and an active warning light. The oil pressure warning lamp also comes on sometimes. Diagnosis suggests a faulty oil level sensor or signal. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone seen this?

I had a similar issue on my 2017 BMW 3 series. Sounds like my car, which was throwing a code related to the oil level sensor. I initially suspected the sensor itself, but it turned out to be a corroded connector. Have you checked the connector and wiring harness leading to the sensor for damage or corrosion? Sometimes cleaning and re-seating the connector can resolve it.

Thanks. Could you give me more detail on the connector location? I want to check the right component on my Nissan Caravan.

On my BMW, the connector was on the underside of the engine, near the oil pan, next to where the oil level sensor is mounted. I'd expect a similar location on your Nissan Caravan, although it may vary. Given the symptoms, I'd advise a workshop check. My defective cable connection was the problem.

Thanks for the info and advice. I'm taking the Nissan Caravan to a workshop. The repair cost 95€. Your experience helped a lot.
