Coolant level's fine, and I gave the grille a quick once-over – didn't see anything obvious blocking it. But you mentioned it with your Saab - did you find a fix, and what ended up being the culprit? Same symptoms?

Okay, so with my Saab, turns out a faulty fuse was messing with the radiator fan control. It wasn't spinning up when it should, so the engine was running hotter than it thought it was, and the temp sensor went haywire. But honestly, given you've checked the basics, I'd get it to a workshop. Could be something more complicated – best not to risk cooking your engine!

Thanks a bunch for the heads-up! Dropped it at the workshop, and you were spot on. Turns out it was a defective fuse, just like on your Saab. Repair set me back 52€. Feeling relieved it wasn't anything major!

That sounds familiar! I had similar weirdness with my old 2012 Saab – also a gasoline engine. Engine light, temperature issues… Drove me nuts! Is your radiator grille blocked with leaves or something? Have you checked the basics, like coolant level?
