Nissan Kix Won't Start

My 2010 Nissan Kix with a gasoline engine won't start at 24227 km. I suspect an engine control malfunction. No mechanical faults are obvious, but the battery cable connections look suboptimal. The check engine light is off, and there are no strange engine sounds. Any ideas?

Hey, I've got a Kix too. Had similar probs once. Check those battery connections real good. Wiggle 'em, clean 'em. Might be all it is.

Can you give me more detail about the problem you had? Were the symptoms the same, and did you notice anything else? Were there any diagnostic codes, or was it just the battery connections?

Nah, no codes or nothin'. Just wouldn't start. Cleaned the battery terminals, tightened 'em up, and it fired right up. If that doesn't do it, might be time to hit up a workshop.

Thanks for your help. I cleaned and tightened the battery cable connections, and it started right up. The total cost was 155€ for diagnostics and minor cable adjustments. Your advice saved me from a bigger repair. Thanks again.
