Nissan Leaf Transport Mode Active Error

I'm pulling my hair out! My 2023 Nissan Leaf (electric) with 87547 km is throwing a 'Transport Mode Active' error. The electrical system seems wonky, and the navigation is dead. I've tried restarting it a million times. Anyone seen this before?

Whoa, that's weird for such a new Leaf. 'Transport Mode Active' usually means the car's in a low-power state for shipping, but it should be disabled by the dealer before delivery. Does the engine even start? Have you checked for any other error codes using an OBD2 scanner, or maybe tried messing with the car configuration in the settings?

Yeah, the engine starts, but it feels sluggish, almost like it's limited. I don't have an OBD2 scanner handy, unfortunately. Where exactly would I find the car configuration settings you mentioned? Is it buried deep in some menu?

Gotcha. If the engine's starting but sluggish, transport mode is definitely the culprit. Car configuration settings can be tricky – sometimes it's a hidden menu accessible via a specific button combination. Honestly, though, for a 2023 model still under warranty and with these symptoms, I'd take it to the workshop. They probably need to do a software installation or a proper diagnostic check to reset it.

Ugh, you're probably right. I was hoping to avoid the dealership hassle, but it sounds like it's beyond my skills. Thanks for confirming my suspicions! I will book an appointment and let them deal with it. At least it will be covered by warranty, so eventual repair costs should be 0€.
